Hi all,

I am starting this page on behalf of my dear friend - Rainer Zach who was battling pancreatic cancer and passed away on Feb 14, 2024.

Rainer’s last wish was to create a better future for his kids. So, all the money from this Fundraiser will go not only to cover the memorial expenses but to Zach Family Trust, to his three children, that just lost one great father, who can't support them anymore.

Rainer has been battling pancreatic cancer since Dec 2020. He never gave up and tried all types of treatment. He extended his presence with us by developing his own protocol of healing modalities, supplements and nutrition.

Rainer started helping others who had lost hope when he achieved impressive results. He created a local support group in San Diego to share his experiences and support others in their battles with cancer.

When Rainer was first diagnosed, doctors gave him 6-12 months to live but as a true fighter Rainer was battling for 4 years. Unfortunately, disease kept destroying his body and when Rainer realized his days were coming to the end, he created the Zach Family Trust for his children.

Rainer was born in Germany in 1966 and moved to the US at the age of 23. His American dream started in Chicago where he worked in the fine dining restaurant business for quite a few years. He got to live and travel around the country and settled in San Diego, where he started a few successful business ventures and had three beautiful kids.

His kids have always been his biggest motivation to keep fighting for his life and his biggest love.

I had the great pleasure of working with Rainer for a few years as his administrative assistant from 2015-2017, and I have always admired his entrepreneurial energy and kindness. We remained friends, and he has always been there for me. I am truly heartbroken to realize that we lost such a great human, and my heart breaks for Rainer’s kids who lost an amazing loving and caring father.

This fundraiser is to honor the good memory of our friend, colleague, father - Rainer Zach. His last will was to create Zach Family Trust to secure his kids future. He loved his kids so much and was a great dad who brought many adventures and love to their lives.

Rainer passed away on Feb 14, 2024.
