Raine suddenly and unexpectedly passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning, 12th July, leaving behind her only daughter Heidi.
You may have known Raine from any one of the communities that she was known and loved within – the UK poker community, her musical circle, her Banbury Cross website, friends and family communities either in Nottingham, Banbury or Bloxham.
Wherever you knew her from, you can guarantee that Raine made a fun, inspiring and positive impact on that community. Exactly why we love her and remember her - for the gifts and joy she brought to so many.
We would like to raise funds to help Heidi with the necessary costs of Raine’s funeral and a get-together afterwards, for us all to celebrate Raine’s life and bring together the diverse set of friends she accumulated along her way for some serious story-telling!
Many people have asked how they can help, contribute or support and to that end we are asking for donations to this GoFundMe page, so we can take the burden from Heidi at this extremely difficult time.
Our sincere thanks to everyone that has been a part of Raine and Heidi’s lives and to everyone that already has or is able to make a contribution.
