My name is Yverson, and I am a father fighting for justice for my son, Quintanni Belotte .

In the beginning, I was told a lie. I was told my son “passed away in his sleep.” That was the story given to me. But the truth was far more painful. My son had over 60 injuries on his body neck and face Sixty. That is not a child who passed peacefully that is a child who suffered, and a system that failed him.

Since December 2023, I have been in a long and exhausting legal battle with Children’s Aid Society, fighting just to face the truth about what really happened to my son. I strongly believe there was a coverup, delays, and failures that allowed this tragedy to happen and then tried to hide it.

Major media outlets have refused to tell my son’s story. No headlines, no coverage, no urgency. So I had no choice but to become my son’s voice. To speak when no one else would. To fight when no one else stepped in.

Every single day, I carry this fight on my own shoulders. I work in carpentry to fund this battle. I create and sell shirts and hoodies to keep my son’s name alive and to spread awareness.

But the truth is… I cannot do this alone anymore.
