We are heartbroken to share the sudden passing of Daniel “Podo” Casarez on Monday, April 20, 2026, due to injuries sustained in a car accident.

Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Podo knows he was truly larger than life. He brought energy, laughter, and warmth into every room he entered. Whether he was cheering on the Niners or Giants, enjoying the music of Metallica and Santana, or simply sharing a great meal with family and friends, Podo lived fully and loved deeply.

He leaves behind a community of family, friends, and loved ones who are devastated by this unimaginable loss. The void left by his passing is one that can never be filled.
