On Saturday, November 2nd Phil was out for his usual motorcycle ride where he was involved in an accident and passed away.
He was my fiance and very best friend. I knew he was someone special from the way he carried himself, his curiosity, his intellect and of course his amazingly coiffed mane. That and so much more. We've shared 9 beautiful years together. During our life together from San Diego to New York and back to California, I can say that I'm lucky in that I've been able to share many lifetimes with this wonderful human.
He lived life joyously and had his career aspirations set so very high. When he found successes he always found a way to share it. He didn't consider it a true success unless the people around him were lifted up as well. Whether you knew him in his personal or professional life, Phil always had a way of making you feel seen and heard.
The GoFundMe is intended to help cover funeral and burial costs. Please feel free to pass this page along and give as little or much as you are comfortable with. These donations will all go to his Mother, Tessie Manila.
