Phil Ostlie and his wife were about to begin a new chapter of their lives in Colorado Springs. Their adventure ended before it began when Phil passed away unexpectedly just days before signing on a new house. In addition to funeral expenses, the family incurred about $2,500 in costs to bring Phil's remains home from Colorado to Minnesota.
