In Memory of Pete Shaffalo – Growing the Game He Loved

Pete gave so much of his time, energy, and passion to the game of hockey, especially to the next generation. Through his work and involvement, he helped countless kids take their first steps into the sport, always making sure each experience was fun, welcoming, and unforgettable.

Pete had a unique way of connecting with everyone he met. To those who knew him, Pete wasn’t just a friend or coworker, he was family. He brought positivity, laughter, and an unmatched level of care to every day. His impact stretched far beyond the rink, touching lives across Pittsburgh and everywhere his hockey journey took him.

In honor of Pete’s legacy, we are raising funds to continue what he cared about most: growing the game of hockey and helping kids get started. 100% of all donations will go directly toward supporting youth hockey, giving more kids the opportunity to experience the game Pete loved so deeply.
