In memory of Pete Donatti

Hi, my name is Angela Wilbanks and I’m asking for financial help for the family of a long time friend, Pete Donatti. Pete Donatti lost his long battle with kidney disease on 8/29/2023. He left behind 3 children still in the home (ages 9, 10, and 18) and his wife, Rachel. The passing of this father, husband, son, brother, family, and friend has truly been a devastating loss for all who knew Pete. Pete had been a recipient of a kidney donation at the age of 26 , but unfortunately that kidney didn’t last forever and he ended up back on the kidney transplant list back in 2020. Pete had fought a long hard battle to stay alive and well for his wife and children as long as he possibly could. Pete loved hard, was an amazing father and husband, and would try to move mountains if that’s what it took to help his family or friends out. Pete and his wife, Rachel, were foster parents for years as well. Pete was an avid musician and had a keen ability to make a guitar sing. He worked for Instrumental Influence for years until they closed their doors in 2018. Pete’s ultimate goal in life was to make sure his family always knew how much he loved them and was taken care of no matter what. At this time in life, Pete’s wife and children need our help! Rachel is now going to be raising her children, that still live at home, alone and could truly use our help financially. Terminal illness alone can wreak havoc on one’s finances. Then when adding in the cost of funeral expenses it can become devastating. Please help me to help Rachel and her children out in this time of crisis. All funds will go directly to Pete’s wife, Rachel Donatti, to help with raising their children, funeral expenses, medical bills, and any other financial needs that will come up in the future.

Pete’s memorial service was today and what a beautiful one it was! Rachel and the kiddos are so grateful for all the love that everyone has shown them during this difficult time.  Please continue to share this GoFundMe as the financial need is still present.  Thank you all again for your kindness and love!
