On Sunday, August 16, 2020, my beloved father, Pedro Mena, made his departure from his time here with us. He was the most dedicated, caring, and loving father, grandfather, husband, brother, and friend. He was always positive about everything and always put his family first. He taught me so many things growing up, with the greatest lesson being to have perseverance and resilience; to never give up when life throws the worst at you. I will forever be grateful for everything he did for me and the rest of my family.
My father fought for his life for nearly a month after contracting COVID-19. We never anticipated that our biggest fear would become a reality. With all of the emotional pain and stress that death brings, it also comes with financial hardships. The funds collected will go towards the funeral and cemetery costs.
My father will be immensely missed, but his memory will live forever. He will be remembered by his compassionate and giving personality, his professional character, and his devotion to always doing good for others and for the world to be
a better place.
During this pandemic, we understand times are difficult and we want to thank you for any help you might be able to provide. Please continue to keep my father and my family in your thoughts and prayers.

El Domingo 16 de Agosto de 2020, mi querido padre, Pedro Mena, hizo su partida de su tiempo aquí con nosotros. Fue el padre, abuelo, esposo, hermano y amigo más dedicado, cariñoso y amoroso. Siempre fue positivo en todo y siempre puso a su familia en primer lugar. Él me enseñó muchas cosas mientras crecía, y la mayor lección fue tener perseverancia y resistencia; para nunca rendirse cuando la vida te arroje lo peor. Siempre estaré agradecido por todo lo que hizo por mí y el resto de mi familia.
Mi padre luchó por su vida durante casi un mes después de contraer COVID-19. Nunca anticipamos que nuestro mayor temor se haría realidad. Con todo el dolor emocional y el estrés que trae la muerte, también viene con dificultades financieras. Los fondos recaudados se destinarán a los gastos del funeral y del cementerio.
Extrañaremos muchísimo a mi padre, pero su recuerdo vivirá para siempre. Será recordado por su personalidad compasiva y generosa, su carácter profesional y su devoción por hacer siempre el bien al pròjimo y del mundo un lugar mejor.
Durante esta pandemia, entendemos que los tiempos son difíciles y queremos agradecerle por cualquier ayuda que pueda brindar. Por favor, continúe manteniendo a mi padre y mi familia en sus pensamientos y oraciones.
