I am starting this fundraiser to support the family of Pedro Amaro, who recently passed away after a long and courageous fight with severe and complex health conditions. For years, he battled serious heart and liver disease, along with diabetes yet through every hardship, his love for his family remained unwavering.

Pedro was a devoted husband to his wife, Celedonia, and the entire world to his two children, Jennifer (12) and Jonathan (10). His journey was long and painful, but his heart always belonged to his kids. Jennifer and Jonathan were deeply attached to their father, and his loss has left an immeasurable void in their lives and in Celedonia’s heart.

### Why We’re Asking for Your Help

The family’s greatest wish is to lay Pedro to rest in a cemetery close to home. Because they were so close to him, having a nearby place to visit will give them comfort, connection, and a sense of peace as they navigate this painful loss.

However, after years of medical challenges and an unexpected passing, the cost of a local burial is more than the family can manage. These funds will allow Celedonia to choose a cemetery nearby without the overwhelming burden of debt.
