Logan was a true friend — one in a million.

He was the kind of person who showed up. The kind who checked in. The kind who made you laugh when you didn’t feel like laughing. Loyal, steady, quietly strong. He meant more to people than he ever realised.

At just 24 years old, Logan tragically lost his battle with mental health.

He was a proud police officer. His collar number was 1242 — a number that represented his service, his commitment, and the life he was building.

To honour him, I will be completing a 24-mile bike ride followed immediately by a 12.42-mile walk.

24 miles for his age.

12.42 miles to represent his collar number, 1242.

36.42 miles in total — carried step by step in his memory.

I am aiming to raise as much money as possible in tribute of Logan

But this challenge is not only about distance. It’s about purpose.

Just over a year ago, I left the police after facing my own battles with mental health and PTSD — struggles that I continue to navigate today. I know how heavy those dark days can feel. I know what it’s like to carry things silently. And I know how important it is to have the right support at the right time.

Mental health does not discriminate. It doesn’t care about your strength, your job, your uniform, or how much people think you “have it together.” Sometimes the strongest people are fighting the quietest battles.

Every penny raised will go to Andy’s Man Club, the charity chosen by Logan’s family.

Andy’s Man Club is a free, nationwide men’s suicide prevention charity offering peer-to-peer support groups across the UK. They provide safe, non-judgmental spaces where men can talk openly about their struggles without pressure, stigma or expectation. No referral. No cost. Just support.

They exist to remind men that “It’s okay to talk.”

Too many men suffer in silence. Too many families are left with heartbreak that words cannot fix.

If this fundraiser can help even one man feel less alone… if it can help one conversation happen sooner… if it can prevent one more family from experiencing this kind of loss — then every mile will be worth it.

This challenge is about remembering Logan properly.

It’s about turning grief into action.

It’s about standing up for men’s mental health.

If you are able to donate — no matter how small — it would mean more than you know. If you can’t donate, sharing this page helps just as much.

Let’s honour Logan’s 24 years by making a difference that lasts far beyond them.
