If love were enough, stories would not end like this. On January 22nd, the world lost a beautiful human being, Payton Kay Thompson, to complications of Type 1 Diabetes, a condition she lived with since she was a year old.

As so many people have reached out to ask, "how can I help? " Payton's mom, Sandy Mitdlien and, her husband, Craig, have allowed friends to put together this Go Fund Me page so that people can have an anonymous path to contribute if they wish to relieve the financial burden that accompanies Payton's unexpected and tragic passing.

If the meaning of life were to give your whole heart, it was embraced fully by Payton. She was creative, vivacious, and deeply kind to all living things. She was an artist, poet, and theatre lover. She was so much more. She leaves behind family and friends who will always love her.
