In memory of Paula Cook " Mom"
Donation protected
Many people knew our mom, Paula Cook. She was a kind, gentle and loving person who
would give her last to see another happy. I want to tell you a little about my mother. She was
born August 1, 1957.She was raised in Westminster Md. She was one of sixteen kids. She
always wanted to help other. As a result of this desire, she worked as a substitute teacher while
fostering kids for 13 years. She had a direct influence/fostered on roughly 190 kids in that 13-year span.
That desire to help families and kids wasn’t limited to just domestic people. She also ran a
foreign exchange program.Paula also did a number of things in the community. This Christmas,
God called her home.We are grieving and find our self in a very difficult financial hardship. We
truly wish we didn’t have to ask for help but unfortunately there comes a moment in everyone life
when we all need help. This is one of those times.Because my mother had major heart problems,
insurance companies were reluctant to offer her life insurance. The insurance companies that did
offer life insurance charged extremely unaffordable rates. We know that money is strained for
everyone, especially right after Christmas. However, if you could please find it in your heart to
make a small donation to my mother’s going home arrangements, we would forever appreciate it.
We wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t important. We would greatly appreciate any amount donated.
