In memory Of Paul Kim

On Thursday April 20th at the age 55 we lost Paul Kim (Joo Yup Kim). He was the owner of Paul's Sunshine Cleaners on 99th street in Rego Park for over a decade and a well known and loved member of our community. Paul is survived by his wife and 4 children, who require our support now more than ever.
Paul was full of life! He was an avid fitness fan - running marathons and half marathons and encouraging others to take care of their health.
A hard worker, he was always willing to lend a helping hand.
He has saved us from tickets by throwing quarters in our expired meters, watered an occasional lawn if his clients asked him to, cheered us on as we made our way to the gym, wished us a good day as we shuffled to work in the mornings. His presence was a staple and is now irreplaceable.
Despite his hectic schedule and dedication to work - he was a devoted family man. My favorite memory of him was when I walked into his shop and witnessed him listening to his daughter practice piano via FaceTime and offering her support and encouragement.
In mundane drudgery of every day routine, Paul added a much needed sparkle.

My walks through the neighborhood will never be the same. Let's take this time to give Paul's family support, every little bit counts! All of the funds will go to his wife and children to help with funeral expenses.

Thank you.
