Patrick Wayne Caveney, 39, of Charlotte, a big-hearted father, son, brother, and grandson, died unexpectedly on Friday, April 9, 2021. Patrick was born September 5, 1981 in Muskegon, the son of Wayne Lawrence and Deborah Sue (Jensen) Caveney. In first grade, his family moved to Charlotte, where he graduated in 2000 before earning his degree from Ferris State University. Soon after his education, he went right to work as a career IT specialist with the State of Michigan, recently earning his IT-15 distinction. Patrick was a passionate University of Michigan fan, and enjoyed listening to the oldies. He loved animals, especially his dog Choco and his two cats, Cara and Musky. Above all, he cherished his family and friends, and adored his 12-year-old daughter, Caydence.
