In memory of Patricia Miller Gupton
Donation protected
Pat Miller Gupton lived for her animals. If you admitted to her that you'd killed a cockroach, you got more than an earful about how even cockroaches have mamas.
Although she had many friends, when Pat died last month, she was at home alone with her fish and her beloved cat Rascal.
Pat's brother Danny is in incredibly poor health and has limited financial resources. He was in a medically induced coma less than one month ago. Still, he managed to make the long trip to Chapel Hill from South Dakota in a loving effort to try to make arrangements for his last living sister.
Those who know Pat well know she was a bit of a collector. Danny has the job of digging through 60 years of papers to find Pat's life insurance policy. In the meantime, he's had to rent a dumpster to sort through the incredible volume of her things, including items saved for three and four decades.
Please help us to help Danny as he manages this tremendous task by himself. Danny will need more than one dumpster to clean out the house. Danny is still recovering from a life-threatening illness and is struggling to balance his health and the needs of the home with his desire for a memorial for his big sister. Any contribution can help.
