In Loving Memory of Patricia Jean Galvin
August 20, 1963 - March 28, 2023

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of PJ Galvin on March 28, 2023. Born on August 20, 1963, in Kansas City, Kansas, PJ was the cherished daughter of Joe and Patricia Galvin. At the tender age of one, she moved with her family to Northridge, California, where she grew up as the youngest of seven children.

PJ attended Canyon High School in Anaheim Hills, graduating in 1981. During her time at Canyon, she was a dedicated student, a skilled basketball player, and a spirited cheerleader. After high school, she pursued a career as a paralegal, working for Trope and Trope. PJ took immense pride in her professional achievements, but her greatest joy was her three beloved sons, Blayne, Korey, and John Joseph.

A devoted single mother, PJ juggled her career while volunteering as a youth basketball coach and team mom for youth football. She also served as a referee for youth, high school, and college basketball games. PJ worked for the City of Santa Clarita for 19 years, touching countless lives through her dedication and hard work.
PJ's caring nature extended beyond her own family. She lovingly cared for both of her parents, later drawing on that experience to become a hospice caretaker in the final months before her passing.

She is survived by her son Blayne Soleymani-Pearson, daughter-in-law Nilo Soleymani-Pearson, her soon-to-be-born granddaughter, her son Korey Clayton Stapp, and her son John Joseph Krukowski; her siblings Stephen, Barbara, Suzi, Mark, and Mary, and their spouses Judy, Bobby, Jane, and Susan; and her nieces and nephews Mike, Andrea, Tim, Johnny, Lacy, Audi, Nikki, Chance, Caitlin, Kiel, and Brennah.

PJ was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Patricia, her brother Nick, and brother-in-laws, Jim and Bruce.

As we mourn the loss of a remarkable and vibrant woman, we invite you to join us in celebrating PJ's life and legacy. A GoFundMe fundraiser has been set up to help cover funeral expenses. Your contributions will ensure that PJ receives the heartfelt farewell she deserves, and will help honor her memory for generations to come.
