In memory of Pam Mankel

The world lost a beautiful soul last Friday night. Pam fought very hard the last several weeks to beat Covid and was slowly recovering. However, last Friday night she passed unexpectedly and quickly with her daughter  Kayla at her side. Pam was an incredible Mother, Wife, Grandma, Sister, Daughter, Step Mom, Aunt, Teacher and Friend  to us all. Pam has spent the last 15 years developing the MUSD Special Olympics program. She built the team up from just a few athletes to over 40 over the years. Pam always believed in empowering our special needs children to believe in themselves and reach for the stars. Pam always made sure that every event was perfectly planned and that the kids had an experience they would never forget. Pam always put the time and energy in making sure everything she did for someone was special. From birthdays to lesson plans she made sure that every detail was perfect. Her three daughters  were her world and she loved them so very much. She was so happy to become a Grandma to her two Grandaughters and future new Grandchild. She was finally allowing herseslf to slow down and enjoy her life as a Wife and Grandma and was excited to travel and experience new places with Dave. We are hoping to raise funds to help with the financial burden of all of the expenses that have accrued. Pam will be forever missed and loved deeply by all.
