We lost our dear friend Page Martineau far too soon. She devoted her life to her students, colleagues, and this island, giving more than she took. Her warmth and love of books shaped so many young lives. Her work with the teacher’s union helped protect her colleagues.
   Page’s husband, Tony, and their daughter, Martha Page, are now navigating a world without her. Page’s most important hope—spoken often, especially in the last month of her life—was that her daughter would have every chance to continue her education. This fund is to help make that wish possible and to support Tony and Martha Page as they face the unimaginable.
