It is with unimaginable pain that I am even having to write this but we are creating this fundraiser for our boy Tommy , who tragically yet so suddenly lost his life at just 21 years old, following a collision with an emergency vehicle and himself crossing a junction simply on his way home from work,As many people have asked about the circumstances surrounding Tommy’s passing, we would like to share the information currently known to us. Footage has been handed over and proves our Tommy waiting at the crossing for the green man signal. After receiving the signal to cross, he stepped onto the crossing and was tragically struck by an oncoming fire truck. Just Tommy against the oncoming emergency vehicle is making it harder for us to get our heads around. It was the most terrible accident which cost our boy his life❤️

Our Tommy was taken to hospital in a critical condition where us as his family and friends remained by his side, holding onto hope and praying for a miracle. He was Surrounded by so much unconditional love but we were eventually faced with the most heartbreaking decision any family could ever have to make going forward ,as he wasn’t progressing you can almost guess the decision we was faced with. our lives changed forever that day, and we are now trying to navigate a loss that no family should ever have to endure.

Anyone who knew Tommy knows just how special he was. He was the biggest smile in every room, the loudest laugh, the friend who could lift your spirits no matter what kind of day you were having. He was kind, caring, loyal, and loved by so many. There will never, ever be another Tommy like him!

he was so young with so much life still ahead of him. He was always road conscious and safety-minded, which makes this tragedy even harder to comprehend. His loss has left an unfillable void in the hearts of his family, friends, and everyone lucky enough to have known him.

I am setting up this fundraiser because Tommy was much more than a friend to me he was family. Having a platform, I want to do everything I can to help give him the farewell he truly deserves and to support his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

The funds raised will go towards the costs of Tommy’s funeral and celebration of life, including his church service, cremation, flowers, hearse, funeral and family cars, wake services, and all the other expenses that come with arranging a meaningful farewell for someone so deeply loved.

Losing someone is heartbreaking enough without the added worry of financial pressures. No family should have to carry the burden of funeral costs whilst trying to process such a devastating loss. We hope this fundraiser can ease some of that weight and allow us as tommys friends and family to focus on remembering and celebrating the incredible person he was.
