In memory of our sweet Jesai Andrews

As many of you know, our community suffered a great loss this week with the passing of our sweet middle schooler, Jesai Andrews.
Jesai started his journey at PHS at the beginning of 6th grade and it became immediately apparent that he would add joy to each of our lives. He was optimistic, loving, funny and unafraid to try new things. Anyone that knew Jesai was touched by his positive attitude and dedication to always trying his best. I personally referred to him as "sunshine" because he brought so much light into my family's life. The fact is, he made life better for everyone that knew him, and we will miss him tremendously.
If you know Jesai's family then you also know that his parents are completely devoted to their children. Darrell and Monisha went to every game, every recital, while making sure Jesai, his sister Maya, and his brother Judah all benefitted from being part of a unified family with their parents' constant devotion and commitment. I personally watched in awe at how this family worked together, supported each other and brought happiness to everyone else around them. This is a great loss for them and for all of us.
