In Loving Memory of the Best Dad, Taken Too Soon

We are heartbroken to share that our dad was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident on his way home from work, he was struck by a vehicle. He was only 47 years old. This was sudden, unfair, and devastating. There are truly no words to describe the pain we are feeling.

Our dad was everything to us.

He was the sweetest, kindest soul — someone who would give the shirt off his back to help another person. He had this incredible way of making people laugh, making you feel seen, and making life feel lighter just by being in the room. He was the type of person everyone loved to be around — full of warmth, humor, and compassion. If you knew him, you loved him.

He worked at General Motors and loved what he did. But more than anything, he loved the people — the friendships he made through the union, the bonds he formed with coworkers who became family. His work ethic, loyalty, and heart made him a person everyone respected and cared for deeply.

And if you knew our dad, you knew he was the biggest Michigan fan there was. Saturdays in the fall were sacred. Watching the game with him was a tradition filled with passion, laughter, and pride — moments that now feel like treasures.

This loss has shattered us. We weren’t prepared for anything like this — emotionally or financially. We’re left trying to pick up the pieces of something that will never feel whole again. We’re asking for help, as hard as that is, to give our dad the goodbye he deserves — to cover funeral costs and help our family through this incredibly difficult time.
