It is with shattered hearts that we share the devastating loss of our sweet baby boy, Jakobe.

Jakobe was born on November 3, 2025, with several serious health defects. From the very beginning, he showed us what true strength looks like. Over the past few months, he fought harder than anyone ever should have to. Through hospital stays, procedures, and machines, he continued to show incredible resilience. He was our little warrior.

On February 24, 2026, Jakobe coded twice. His brain went too long without oxygen. Despite every effort to save him, his brain continued to swell and worsen. We have now been told that our precious baby boy is brain dead and is only being sustained by machines.

No parent should ever have to make these decisions. No parent should ever have to prepare to say goodbye to their child.

As we face this unimaginable heartbreak, we are also faced with the unexpected costs of cremation and memorial services. We have chosen to have Jakobe cremated so we can always keep him close to us. We are humbly asking for help to cover cremation expenses and to give him the peaceful, loving farewell he deserves.
