In Memory of our Incredible Parents

On Sunday July 16th, our beautiful, kind, warrior Mum passed away at home in her bed after a very short battle with heart disease, caused by her ongoing auto immune disease. She was the glue that held our family together.

Not even four days later, our humble, courageous teddy-bear of a Dad decided that 93 hours without his wife of 54 years was enough, and he too, passed away in his sleep after a very long hospital stay & too many operations & procedures to list.

To say we are completely heart broken is an understatement. Our lives will never be the same, but knowing our parents are together, in no pain & safe is so very comforting.

Dian & Barry Lyndon… the new-age Romeo & Juliet. They were star crossed lovers from completely different upbringings but the main thing they had in common was LOVE & KINDNESS… especially for animals.

All of our many family pets over the years were rescues… from dogs, to ex race horses & rabbits.

In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to a charity VERY close to our family’s hearts.

EDGAR’S MISSION INC is a not for profit sanctuary for over 400 rescued farmed animals with a vision for a humane and just world for all.

Through education, outreach, advocacy, community enrichment and sanctuary tours, they encourage people to expand their circle of compassion to include all animals.

There is no official funeral for Mum & Dad, so we felt this could be a beautiful way to honour our parents, & keep their memory alive.
