In memory of our friend Mohammad Alnajadah

We are heartbroken to have lost our dear friend and colleague, Mohammad Ali Alnajadah, on May 8th, 2022. Mohammad joined Metas in 2019 and consulted at CDC’s NCHS Division of Vital Statistics in Hyattsville, MD for the past 2.5+ years. In that time, he brought incredible joy and warmth to his team, clients, and nearly all that had the pleasure of interacting with him. This news is particularly devastating as we recently celebrated the birth of his precious baby George.

We will remember Mohammad for how present he was whenever everyone came together, in meetings, lunches and company all-hands. We remember how proud he was of his family and, in particular, of showing off baby George any time the cameras were on (and even when they were not). He was well-traveled and well-informed on current affairs. He was a true friend to all, reliable whenever anyone was in need. He would pitch in whenever he was asked to, and sometimes when not, always with a warm smile and a helping hand. His positivity and his gentle and kind spirit will be sorely missed.

To honor Mohammad, we are raising money for Baby George and would like to start an education fund in his name. We appreciate any contributions and think this is a wonderful way to remember Mohammad while contributing to his family’s future. His husband James will choose an appropriate education fund for baby George to use when the time comes. We cherished our time with Mohammad, and we encourage everyone to reflect on how we can continue to honor him as we move forward.
