In memory of a dear brother, uncle, friend

Dear community,
We are writing to you with terrible news. This past week a beloved young man who was a brother, uncle, and friend of many in our Turners  Falls community passed away tragically.  After living with his sister and her family for several years, he had just recently moved to another state to start a new life.  He drowned while fishing with his friends a few days ago.  

His sister, in the midst of her grief, is saddled with the expense of flying with her family to claim his remains as well as the cost of sending his remains back to Guatemala where their mother and father will bury him.   These costs threaten to put her and her family deep into debt.  On their behalf, we are writing to ask for your support to ease their burden. We also hope to let them know that there are many people who are here for them during this very difficult time.
