This is my beloved sister Dannielle, her husband David, and their beautiful daughter Dahlia, my niece. Dahlia has a big brother named Dario. We only got to know Dahlia for 32 days before she left us and Dario never got to meet his baby sister. When she was just a little over a week old, Dahlia had open-heart surgery. She suffered many complications afterward, and ultimately, we lost her. We are shattered. Her care team at Cedars Sinai called her brave. They called her a fighter. They have vowed to tell her story. We will all tell her story.
