It is with heavy hearts that we announce the tragic and unexpected loss of our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin: Michael “Joel” Amaro. Nothing could have ever prepared us for this heartbreaking loss because of this we are asking for any donations/contributions that you could make to help us lay him to rest peacefully. Joel was a ILWU Casual, as the 3rd generation of Longshoreman in our family. He was about to reach his dream of being elevated any day now, but we never could of known his life would be cut so short before he was able to see that day. He was the most loving person who always made sure to reach out to all his family, whom he cared for deeply. We would like to honor Joel’s life and provide him with the services he deserves.
