It is with heavy hearts and sadness that I share the news of the passing of my mama Lety, on Friday December 19th. She was battling a short fight with cancer that progressed quickly and gave us no time to react. Today I am reaching out to all my family and friends to help cover these unexpected funeral expenses.

A little to know about my mama Lety was that she was the heart and soul of our family. Always making sure we were okay even if we were miles apart. Calling every birthday, graduation, or just any milestone of our lives to give us a blessing and wishing us the best. Always managing to gives us the world with what little she could but it all came from the heart so you cherished any little thing. Now that you are no longer here a memory I will cherish will be when we would be at beach playing in the water, collecting shells, and coming home to a shower and a nice warm cuddle on the bed or floor didn’t matter which as long as I had my grandma. I will love you from and miss you dearly.

Hoy me dirijo a toda mi familia y amigos para solicitar su ayuda con los gastos funerarios inesperados.

Mi mamá Lety era el corazón y el alma de nuestra familia. Siempre se aseguraba de que estuviéramos bien, incluso a la distancia. Nos llamaba para cada cumpleaños, graduación o cualquier acontecimiento importante de nuestras vidas para darnos su bendición y desearnos lo mejor. Ahora que ya no estás aquí, un recuerdo que guardaré conmigo es cuando íbamos a la playa Miramar, jugábamos en el agua, recogíamos conchas y volvíamos a casa para darnos una bañada y para luego acostarnos en la cama o en el suelo, no importaba dónde, con tal de estar con mi abuelita. Te amaré y te extrañaré muchísimo.
