Over the past two years, my dad’s health began to decline. He was put on dialysis due to liver failure, and recently suffered a heart attack that led him to the ICU. Despite the doctors’ efforts, he passed away from heart failure. Losing him has been incredibly hard for our family, especially since he was the one who raised us as a single parent.

Growing up, my dad was always there for us. He never failed to put a smile on our faces, and his favorite phrase, “there is no crying in baseball,” still makes us laugh when we remember it. He was an amazing person who always put those he loved before himself, and his kindness touched everyone who knew him.

We are raising funds to help cover the costs of his funeral services, showings, and to transport him back to his birthplace so we can honor his memory as he deserves.
