In memory of our beloved Benedine

We became friends at the age of 5 and for the last 26 years, she has been my closest. We did so many amazing things and silly things together. We traveled together. We got drunk together. We went through break ups together. She is also my favorite musician. I would follow her every week when she performs at pubs and watch her sing, listen to her beautiful voice. We planned to buy some land beside Belu Chaung and built our own places next to each other and become neighbors for the rest of our life (we knew we could not live in the same house together because I would get annoyed of her constant singing and she would get bored of my silence.)

My beautiful friend, I will remember all the little good things we did together with our friends. May you rest peacefully now. You were and will always be my best friend. We will keep up the fight in your memory.
