In Memory of our Beautiful Marin.
Donation protected
Our precious friends Evan and Penni Stackpole lost their beloved 17-year-old daughter, Marin, in a devastating car accident this Saturday evening, July 5th, on Route 6, about 2 blocks from their home. She had driven to Fort Phoenix Park to take photos against the backdrop of the sun setting over Buzzard’s Bay.
Since her early childhood, Marin was a free spirit; loving, beautiful, and unique in her style. She was so looking forward to her senior year at Greater New Bedford Vocational HS and was passionate about volleyball and hanging out with family and friends. She held two summer jobs: Cisco Brewery and Nick's Pizza. Marin always brought a special light and joy to her family that was beautiful to see and be around.
Evan and Penni and their son Ian (21) are amazing humans; caring, loving, kind, and committed to family life before all -- and now they are living the unthinkable. They are surrounded by loving family and friends, but no parent should have to bury their child. We hope you will join us in contributing to this GoFundMe campaign to help Marin’s family pay for funeral expenses and other expenses related to managing their grief and recalibrating their lives. Your gifts are so appreciated and are a way of putting light and love into the universe.
Thank you for your donations of any amount.
Sincerely, Denise Barr, Carolyn Nunez& Don Collasius, Stasia & Sean Powers, Chantal & Erin Bromage and Mark Sylvia
