In Memory of Osvaldo Sandoval

It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of our dear friend and colleague Osvaldo "Oso" Sandoval, on April 23, 2025, at the age of 31.

Oso was a beloved member of the Fortress team, known for his kindness, humor, and unwavering positivity. He brought joy to those around him and left a lasting impact on everyone he worked with. His absence will be deeply felt across our community.

Our thoughts are especially with Oso’s 12-year-old son, as well as his family and friends, during this incredibly difficult time. Losing someone so young and cherished is a tragedy, and our entire Fortress family mourns alongside those who knew and loved him.

Our Fortress community has come together and shown support for one another during times of mourning and loss, and we would like to show the Sandoval family the same support that we have provided in the past. We wish to remember the positive spirit Oso brought into our lives and work, and will keep his family in our thoughts and prayers.

In Oso’s memory, we have created this page to raise funds to support his family with funeral and memorial expenses, and to help ease the financial burden in the days ahead. All donations will go directly to his family and will provide much-needed support as they navigate their loss.

Your generosity, no matter the size, will go a long way in offering comfort and assistance to his loved ones and allow them to focus on healing and honoring his memory.

We are extremely saddened by this unexpected tragedy, but ever grateful for Oso and his contributions as a member of the Fortress family.
