In Memory of Osean: A Life of Giving
Donation protected
How do you start to begin when you are broken and shattered within? Our family is overwhelmed with suffering from the loss of Osean. He was so loved and we depended on him in many ways. Osean felt compassion for others far beyond what is normal. He was always compelled to give anything and everything he had to others. He alway did without so that he could give. He would use what little money he had to buy groceries to those in need even if it meant he went hungry for a few days. He would walk through the parks every night looking for anyone to help which included the neighbors and the homeless. There, he would provide clothing, meals, blankets, encouragement, and prayers to many. He would stay up all hours of the night consoling the broken hearted. His spirit was one of self-sacrifice. He said that by giving up physical needs of his body, it taught him to focus on the things that really mattered, a relationship with our Grand Creator. He loved people but that came with a lot of pain.
We have lost many family members, especially recently. Osean lost his Uncle Bradley just a few months ago. Even more recent, he lost his Grandma Linda, who he lived with his entire life. There wasn’t much time in his life between his medical needs, life struggles, and heartbreak. All of which softened his heart. He also felt a lot of physical pain. He was born a severe hemophiliac and suffered much in life. Osean was able to handle a lot of pain but sometimes it was too much for him. He had internal injuries that stayed with him since he was a baby. Joint swelling, muscle bleeds, painful head aches, and his IV’s were just part of his daily life. Often he was unable to move without excruciating pain. Osean was only 26 when his life was taken from him, and he missed out on a lot in those years. Most people never realized how severely he was suffering due to his loving nature. As he got older, he used much of his time to write letters and research scriptures to encourage others. And he wrote a lot! Virtually everyone he knew, he wrote to, talked to, or gave to from his heart. Osean tried very hard to follow the example of love that Jesus set for us and I know he would want all of us to do the same. We will miss Osean, and we will always have a giant hole in our hearts that will never be filled until we get the opportunity to see him again with God. He was a Son, Brother, Uncle, Friend, and a Servant of God.
Our family would be deeply grateful and appreciate any help, no matter the size, to put him to rest and have a memorial for him.
Please share this with your network. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support and compassion. Please keep the McClintock family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this profound loss.
With Gratitude,
Those that loved Osean deeply! ❤️
