Officer Jerome Scholz was an integral part of the Irving Police Department. He had a servant's heart through his service in the Army prior to becoming an officer. He was always the person to rely on for encouragement or a good laugh in and out of uniform. Jerome was involved in a motorcycle accident on Friday evening, leaving his family, significant other, and our department with a tremendous loss.

Jerome’s mother was his source of family and currently lives out of state. We are raising funds to help her in any way she needs during this difficult time.
