My name is Kevin Pamatian, and it is with a heavy heart that I write to tell you that my mom, Ofelia T. Pamatian, has died after a long and courageous fight with cancer.

My mom was everything to me. She was sweet, generous and strong—always taking care of everyone else, even when she was experiencing the hardest times in her own life. To witness her battle this disease with such grace and courage broke my heart and inspired me daily. She never abandoned hope, and she held on as long as she could.

Now that she’s gone, my family and I are trying our best to give her the peaceful, dignified farewell she truly deserves. But the cost of her hospitalization and burial has become more than we can afford on our own.

I’m asking with all my humility for your help — be it a donation or even a share to others who would like to chip in. Everything you can give will be applied to my mother’s funeral and what is left over to her medical expenses. More than anything, your love, prayers, and support mean the world to us right now.
