Hi, my name is Anay. I am 6 years old.

I am writing this with the help of my family because something very sad happened to my papa, Nilesh Chaudhari.

On the morning of November 23, 2025, my papa woke up and told my Aai, Prajakta, that he wasn’t feeling well. Before anyone could understand what was happening, he suddenly collapsed. Aai ran to our neighbors to get help, and they called 911. The ambulance came fast and the people tried very hard to help him. They took him to the hospital… but the doctors told us something we never wanted to hear.

My papa passed away.

He was healthy, he exercised a lot, and he always took care of himself. Everyone who knew him is still shocked and cannot believe this happened. He was the happiest person I knew. He made me laugh every day, he played with me, he told me stories, and he always hugged me when I needed him.

My Aai, Prajakta, and I live in Columbus, Indiana, where our neighbors and friends love us very much. Everyone knew papa as a kind, respectful, and smiling person. He helped others, and he always tried to teach me good values and our culture. Our home was always full of peace and love because of him.

Now everything feels different. Aai is trying to be strong for me, but I can see her crying when she thinks I am not looking. I miss my papa every second.

We are asking for help because my papa was the one who took care of everything in our family. This fundraiser will help my Aai manage the sudden expenses, take care of things at home, and support me as we try to heal from this painful loss. Nothing can bring papa back, but any help will make our path a little easier and let Aai focus on keeping us safe and together.
