In memory of Nikki Rhoades

It is with a heavy heart that this GoFundMe is being created on behalf of the Rhoades Family. Unfortunately, on July 27, 2022, the world took another angel far too soon - Nikki Rhoades. She passed away in her sleep Wednesday morning, at the age of 44, with the cause unknown at this time.

Nikki was a mother, wife, daughter, friend, and a good person. Nikki and her husband, Carl, first met in 1994 and have been together since Nikki was just 17 years old. She has three children - Shelbi, Tessa, and Grant. Her daughter, Tessa, says, "she had the biggest heart, and would do anything for anyone regardless of their past. Even those who disrespected or looked down on her, she would never blink an eye before helping them with whatever they needed. She was, and still is my very best friend."

The Rhoades Family should be able to focus on memorializing Nikki and grieving - not the financial stress that can accompany such a loss. The money from this fundraiser will go directly to the family for funeral costs and family bills, allowing time off work to grieve. Unfortunately, Nikki passed away without life insurance, and her daughter Tessa, recently started a new job after moving back to Washington, so she is not eligible for paid time off, bereavement leave, or PFMLA.
