In memory of Nicky

As some of you may be aware my dearest friend Caroline said goodbye to her beautiful, caring son Nicky on Thursday 15th December. Nicky was just 20 years old when he left us.

In memory of Nicky I have set up a go fund me page. I don’t know how Caroline and family would like to honour his memory but I do know many of our friends have contacted me to find out how they can help and support them.

Myself and Caroline have been friends through our love of playing the violin since school. Nicky was the first of my friends baby I had the pleasure of holding at just a few days old. We have spent many a day out together entertaining Nicky, Beth and my niece Ffion (before baby ffion came along) and they have always been there for me to keep me entertained through some of my hardest times. I have watched Nicky grow into a handsome, kind, caring and funny young man.

I have seen their family be torn apart unexpectedly and have watched them try to understand and come to terms with their future without Nicky in their lives. I can’t do anything to take away the pain they are going through but hopefully this will help them realise how loved Nicky was and that lots of people are thinking of them during this terrible time.
