We are heartbroken to share the unexpected passing of Nicholas Walkenhorst on Thursday, October 16th, at the far too young age of 45.
Nick was a loving father, a loyal friend, and a valued member of his community. His sudden departure has left an immense void in the lives of everyone who knew him, but especially in the life of his beloved son, Colin Walkenhorst, who is just 12 years old.
This fundraiser has been created to provide immediate and long-term financial support for Colin as he navigates this devastating loss. The funds raised will go directly toward helping with various expenses, including:
- Educational needs and future opportunities for Colin.
- Day-to-day living expenses to ensure stability during this incredibly difficult transition.
- Unforeseen costs associated with the loss of a parent.
Nick's greatest pride and joy was Colin. Our goal is to lift the burden of financial stress from Colin’s support network, ensuring his future is as secure and bright as Nick would have wanted it to be.
