On September 9, 2026, our dear Nevan Scott passed away suddenly at 40 years old, due to an undetected aortic aneurysm. He was a celebrated teacher and mentor to hundreds of students, a beloved son, older brother, uncle, and close friend to many over decades.

Death, sadly, is stupidly expensive. An untimely death, even more so. From funeral and hospital bills to the legal and logistical expenses of shuttering his business and residence in Barcelona, Nevan’s passing has placed a daunting financial burden on his parents, Nolen and Melissa.

We — his sisters Aubrey and Alice, and lifelong friends Cori and Adam — are seeking to immediately alleviate this burden, settle his estate, and preserve the legacy Nevan leaves behind with his many digital works.
