In memory of Mzwandile Jacks

Mzwandile Jacks, a freelancer writing for Acuris for four and a half years in South Africa, sadly passed away on 4 February following a short illness at the age of 53.
This has come as a great shock to his family, friends and colleagues.
Mzwandile was a true professional: tireless, productive and dedicated to journalism. More importantly, he was a decent man, always patient, polite and thoughtful.
He was a lovely and sincere person who will be very much missed by us all.
Mzwandile is mourned by his wife Angelinah and 14-year-old daughter Lindelwa, alongside family and friends.
As the family's sole breadwinner, Mzwandile was dedicated to his wife and daughter. Acuris CEO Hamilton Matthews has personally overseen the company's response, including a gift to cover funeral expenses. We remain in close contact with Angelinah.
In addition, though, many of his editorial colleagues have expressed a desire to donate to the family as they navigate this most difficult of times.
For those who wish to contribute, whatever you can spare will be much appreciated by the family.
