Hello, my name is Monica Powers. Yesterday, we received the devastating news that my baby sister had passed at 37 years young. Our hearts are shattered more than I can ever describe. My sister had her own battles and struggles, but she had an enormous heart, and we are dedicated to carrying that memory with us forever, as well as spreading awareness. She and I had a relationship that I cannot simply put into words, and I will forever be thankful for the time we had with her on this Earth.

Due to the circumstances surrounding her death as well as her personal circumstances, I am attempting to raise funds to help my parents and I give her a proper cremation and memorial service, as she didn’t have much at all. She is so deserving of that dignity and love, and with this being so unexpected, we would be grateful if you could even give a small amount towards bringing her peace and helping her memory to live on forever. More than anything, I covet your prayers for comfort and strength as we move forward in our grief.

I will share more as we finalize the details of her memorial service.
