Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

We are reaching out with incredibly heavy hearts to share the devastating news of the sudden passing of my mother in law Carmen Maldonado, the beloved mother of my husband Orlando Gonzalez. Carmen was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer two weeks ago, and she left us far too soon on Wednesday July 30th,with an immense void in our lives. Carmen

was a "vibrant spirit," "kind and loving woman," "devoted grandmother," "beacon of strength," "always had a smile for everyone". She cherished her family, especially both of her sons Juan and Orlando and her memory will forever be a blessing to all who knew her. Her sudden departure has left us all in shock and deep grief.

During this incredibly difficult time, Orlando and I are not only grappling with profound emotional pain but are also facing unexpected financial strain. As many of you know, Orlando has been bravely navigating our own financial challenges, and the sudden, overwhelming costs associated with funeral and memorial services were simply not something we were prepared for.

We want to give Carmen the dignified and loving farewell she deserves, without adding to the immense burden we are already carrying. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go directly towards covering:

* Funeral/Cremation expenses

* Memorial service costs

* Any immediate financial needs to help navigate this crisis
