Let me start by saying thank you for reading my Father's story! My Dad did not have any life insurance because the ones he tried didn't approve for to pre-existing health history. As his children we felt it is for us to handle on our own but many have reached out to ask how they can donate so this go fund me is not intended to ask for money but to be there for those who wanted to donate. For go fund me you have to put a goal so I did set it for what our expenses are right now. We are so grateful for the amount of support that everyone has shown in such a tough time in our lives. I have also set up a PO box and will add that on as soon as I have the address so family and friends can send mass cards or anything else they would like to share with us.
December 29, 2019 My father Scott Hamill passed away. It was sudden to us but at the same time we knew one day we could loose him due to his heart. 2011 my dad had a major heart attack and if it wasn't for the Doctor that was there that day we would have lost him then. That Doctor gave us 8 more years with him and I cherish all that we have shared in that time. His granddaughter was a baby at that time so not only did she get to know her Poppa , he also had a Grandson born 5 years ago who Poppa was everything to him! My father joked about death often he even used it when he wanted us to do things for him! He tried making light of all hard situations in life and even in passing I feel his signs are no different. My father had 4 children 9 living grandchildren and 1 that he has been reunited with! All of us have lost a great man and at this time we are doing our best to celebrate his life instead of mourning him in death. Thank you to anyone who does donate, sends prayers or even cards to help and comfort us at this difficult time. Feel free to reach out personally or through this go fund me.
