My Dad passed away unexpectedly on January 20th, 2026, after his body rejected the heart that kept him here for 4 years. My Dad was not just a husband, father, brother, cousin, etc. He was also a true hero. He saved a father and his son from their fire-engulfed truck in June 2020. Three months later, he would suffer a series of heart attacks that would leave him in need of a heart transplant. On August 25th, 2021, he was given the gift of a second chance. He did great and made many more cherished memories… until the day he passed away. After having what appeared to be the flu, he was rushed to the hospital where he was later med-flighted to the UW. There, it was discovered his body was rejecting the heart. He passed away on Jan. 20th, 2026, at 9:37 pm, surrounded by his family. Due to the unexpected nature, some arrangements had been made, but there still are lots of memorial and medical expenses. Any amount of help is deeply appreciated ❤️
