Want to join me in making a difference? I’m raising money to benefit Cardiac Risk in the Young, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me. I am running the York 10 mile on the 19th of October in memory of my cousin Jaime Bucknell. At 14, he sadly passed away from a heart attack due to an undiagnosed heart condition. Any money raised will help fund future screenings and offer support to families who are dealing with similar situations.
More information about Cardiac Risk in the Young: Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) was established in 1995 to prevent young sudden cardiac deaths (YSCD, SADS) through awareness, screening and research; and to support affected families. CRY funds fast-track services at the CRY Centre for Inherited Cardiovascular Conditions and Sports Cardiology and the CRY Centre for Cardiac Pathology.
