In memory of our beloved mother, Mrs. Farrokh Vakil (Moghaddam) who left this world on January 1, 2021. Her mission in life was teaching young women independence through education.  As a high school principal, teacher, and mentor, her knowledge, wisdom, and love enriched so many lives.  

It is for this reason that in lieu of flowers, your kind donation to Global Village Project would be greatly appreciated. GVP is a middle school in Decatur, GA, which is the only school in the country dedicated to educating refugee girls who have had their education interrupted.
