In Memory of Mr Greg Hudson

It is with profound sadness that we share the sudden passing of a man who meant so much to so many.

Some people come into our lives and leave an impression that words can never truly capture. Greg was one of those people. He was loud, funny, outgoing and would talk to anyone, ‘whether you liked it or not’ - a man whose presence made a genuine difference to those around him.

Above all else, Greg was a family man.

He was especially devoted to his wife Amy and his daughter Brooke.

They were his greatest pride and his greatest love. Everything he did was ultimately for them, but the love he had for his entire family was clear to anyone who knew him.

Greg was also very proud of his career and the outstanding work that he was so very good at.

His passing leaves an enormous void that can never be filled, and he will be missed beyond words by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

This page has been created with the full knowledge and support of Greg’s family.

It is important to say that this fundraiser has not been created because the family has asked for financial help, nor to cover funeral costs or any other expenses. There is no expectation or obligation for anyone to contribute.

It is simply a place for those who knew Greg, loved him, respected him, or whose lives he touched, to make a gesture in his memory if they wish.

For some, that may be a donation. For others, it may be a message, a memory, or simply sharing this page with others who knew him.

Any money raised will be passed to Amy and Brooke, as a token of the love and respect so many people held for him.

No amount of money can ease the pain of losing someone so loved, or replace the lost time that should have been shared together.

But perhaps this page can offer something in return — a reminder to his family that they are not alone, and that Greg meant so much to so many.

Greg was a loving husband, dad, son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

His memory will live on in the stories we share and the moments we remember.
