In Memory of Mr. Christiansen

Mr. Christiansen was more than a teacher at Apex High School. He was a mentor, a role model, and a friend to countless students whose lives he touched every day.

As the Career and Technical Education teacher, he inspired generations of students through his carpentry classes, but the lessons he taught went far beyond the workshop. He was known for his kindness, patience, and unwavering willingness to help anyone who walked through his classroom door. No matter the day, he always had a smile on his face and made every student feel valued. His impact will be felt for years to come by the countless students, colleagues, and families who had the privilege of knowing him.

We are a group of recently graduated Apex High School students who wanted to find a meaningful way to honor the man who gave so much to our school community. With the blessing of Ms. Gladstone and the Christiansen family, we have created this fundraiser to support the people Mr. Christiansen loved most.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly toward supporting Mr. Christiansen's sons, Remy and Carter, as they navigate life after the loss of their father. The funds will help provide for their emotional, educational, medical, and day-to-day needs, including grief counseling, therapy, and medical-related expenses, transportation, and other support that helps provide stability and consistency as they adjust to life without him. Every contribution will help ensure they have the care, resources, and opportunities they need both now and in the years to come.

In addition, 5% of all funds raised will be donated to the Charlevoix Humane Society, an organization that held a special place in Mr. Christiansen's heart. We hope this small tribute reflects the compassion and kindness he showed not only to his students but to every life he touched.

Thank you for helping us honor Mr. Christiansen's legacy. Though he is no longer with us, the kindness, compassion, and dedication he showed every day will continue to live on through the lives he changed.
